Our Rail Client based in Birkenhead are recruiting for a Customer Service Co-ordinator, on a contract basis for a minimum of 3 months.
Key Duties & Tasks:
- Direct liaison with external & SISCO customers providing efficient responses and recording information
- Lead order book reviews with customers
- Support Birkenhead Accounts with Customer Invoice queries, for resolution
- Support the Business Managers with delivery information on key customers
- Own customer OTD for all customers under their responsibility
- Attend the daily production meeting, being the voice of the customer
- Provide feedback on delivery failures to the customer
- Work closely with Production Planning, Material Planning and Operations to ensure information is robust and commitments are achieved
- Attend Project Reviews
- Understand the expectations and requirements of the key customers
- Provide concise and quality, technical and cost information on M&D inspection reports for customers and ensure reports are issued in a timely manner
- Attend reviews with the key customers
- Enter and maintain customer orders on to the MRP system
- Ensure orders are acknowledged to the customer within 3 working days
- Ensure all orders have valid agreement via LTSA or Quotation
- Respond to customers' Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and enquiries
- Liaise with the customer for re-scheduling orders
- Understand capacity constraints when entering customer orders
- Management of the Repair Sales & GRN in-trays on a daily basis ensuring all reports are executed efficiently and filed in the appropriate folders
- Control and progress the NSI process
- Assist the other members of the Sales Administration team
- Ensure all sales administration processes are executed and compliant with internal procedures, WMS and Internal Control, minimising exposure and risk
- Assist and cover the Sales Order Administrator to ensure all orders and acknowledgements are processed in a timely manner
General:
- Adhere at all times to the company's Health, Safety & Environmental instructions and requirements
- Take on any other reasonable responsibilities or tasks that are within the employee's capabilities.
