Job Title:Auto Electrician

A great opportunity has arisen within the Electrical Department of a well-established vehicle manufacturing business based in Stoke-on-Trent.
The Role
Reporting to the Electrical Workshop Manager, you will be involved in the build and assembly of high-quality, in-house designed trailer chassis, decks, and associated components. This is a varied role working on low-volume, high-specification vehicles for major blue-chip clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and maintenance of electrical systems on commercial trailers
- Fault finding and diagnostics across a range of vehicle electrical systems
- Working from technical drawings and wiring schematics
- Assisting in the assembly of bespoke trailer components
- Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and within deadlines
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised working environment
Skills & Experience Required
- Strong understanding of auto electrical systems
- Proven fault-finding and diagnostic ability
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics
- Competent in the use of hand and air tools
- Good mechanical knowledge
- Flexible and adaptable approach
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- High standards of quality and workmanship
- Good awareness of health and safety responsibilities
