Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering critical water infrastructure projects under both the Southern Water AMP8 frameworks. This position is ideal for a proactive and safety-conscious professional with a strong background in the water or utilities sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all site operations to ensure safe, timely, and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Lead and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
  • Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation, environmental standards, and company policies.
  • Maintain and manage site records including RAMS, permits to work, daily briefings, and reports.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, engineers, and the project team.
  • Carry out regular site inspections, audits, and deliver toolbox talks.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience as a Site Manager in the water or utilities sector, ideally on AMP frameworks.
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) - Essential
  • Excellent working knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.
  • Valid CSCS card - Preferred
  • First Aid at Work - Desirable
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
