We are currently recruiting for an experienced Laser Operative to join a well-established manufacturing operation based in Stoke-on-Trent. This is a night shift position offered on a temp-to-perm basis, providing an excellent opportunity for long-term employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate laser cutting machinery (CNC preferred)
- Load and unload materials onto the machine safely
- Read and interpret technical drawings and job specifications
- Monitor machine performance and adjust settings as required
- Inspect finished components to ensure quality standards are met
- Carry out routine maintenance and keep work area clean and organised
- Work efficiently to meet production deadlines
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating laser cutting machines
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Good understanding of sheet metal processes
- Ability to work independently on night shifts
Shift Details:
Night shifts (hours to be confirmed), with regular overtime available.
