An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to join a busy manufacturing environment in Stoke-on-Trent, supporting operations.
The Role:
Reporting to senior management, you will oversee the electrical team and ensure the smooth delivery of electrical fit-out and assembly work on commercial trailers and associated products. This is a hands-on supervisory role within a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support the electrical installation team on a daily basis
- Oversee wiring, fitting, and testing of electrical systems on trailers
- Ensure all work is completed to required specifications and quality standards
- Read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics
- Allocate workload and support production planning where required
- Maintain high standards of health and safety across the department
- Provide training, guidance, and support to team members
- Assist with fault finding and technical problem solving
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience in an electrical supervisory or senior electrician role
- Strong understanding of auto electrical systems and installations
- Ability to read engineering drawings and wiring diagrams
- Good leadership and communication skills
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- High standards of workmanship and attention to detail
- Good knowledge of health and safety practices
