Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering essential water infrastructure projects under the Anglian Water AMP8 framework. This role is ideal for a driven and safety-focused individual with a background in the water sector. The position is due to start in early September 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee all site activities, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of water and wastewater projects.
Lead and coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations, company procedures, and environmental standards.
Maintain accurate site records including daily reports, RAMS, and permits.
Liaise effectively with clients, engineers, and the project management team.
Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and toolbox talks.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Site Manager within the water or utilities sector, preferably on AMP frameworks.
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) β essential.
Strong understanding and commitment to Health & Safety practices on construction/utility sites.
Valid CSCS card β preferred.
First Aid at Work β desirable.
Excellent leadership, organisation, and communication skills.
