Site Engineering Geologist

Β£32,000 / year + benefits
Office based in Glasgow, covering sites across Scotland
Key Responsibilities:
– Supervise and manage small to medium geotechnical site investigation projects – primarily field-based work.
– Ensure technical, commercial, and HSEQ compliance per company practices.
– Execute site walkovers, logistics planning, and delivery according to briefing and project plan.
– Record soil/rock samples (boreholes, trial pits), carry out field testing, water/gas monitoring, and surveying.
– Manage site teams and resources, preparing progress and technical reports.
Qualifications and Experience:
– Degree in Earth Science, Geology, Civil Engineering, or related field.
– 3 years\’ experience minimum on ground investigation projects.
– Strong communication and organisational skills.
– Proficient with MS Office.
– Full UK driving licence.
– Training and mentoring provided based on experience level.
