Site Engineering Geologist
Permanent or Contract. Salary £35,000-£40,000 per year plus overtime, car allowance and other benefits (or freelance day rate outside IR35).
A Field Engineer is required to join a geological asset management company in the North‑East. As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for work on sites between the East‑Midlands and York.
Responsibilities
- Inspecting earthworks
- Supervising site works
- Conducting geotechnical inspections
- Conducting ground investigations
- Evaluating slope stability
Qualifications
- A geology‑related degree
- Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in similar roles in the UK
- Experience conducting ground investigations
- Understanding of slope stability and earthworks (construction of earthworks or earthworks in landfill environments)
