PROJECT MANAGER Location - Home-based with travel across Central Belt Scotland Rate - 354.58 per day via umbrella IR35 Status - Inside Industry - Mining Duration - 6-9 months We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to manage a portfolio of coal mining hazard, enquiry and subsidence projects across Scotland. The successful candidate will be home-based but should expect significant travel throughout Scotland s former coalfield areas, including Ayrshire, Lanarkshire, Fife and the Lothians. Site visits and incident response activities are expected to account for approximately 75% of the working week. Project Manager - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Manage a portfolio of coal mining hazard, subsidence and remediation projects. Develop and implement project plans, priorities and resource requirements. Ensure investigations are completed to determine liability where appropriate. Manage consultants and contractors undertaking investigations, research and remediation works. Administer and manage NEC contracts, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and cost-effectively. Undertake site inspections, monitoring, sampling and field investigations. Prepare technical evidence and submissions for claims referred to arbitration or tribunals.
