Overview
We are seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters for project work within a brand-new factory in the Swindon area. This contract offers 4-6 weeks of work with the possibility of extension, competitive pay rates and long daily hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Mechanical assembly and fitting within a new factory environment.
- Working from engineering drawings, schematics and specifications.
- Use of hand tools, power tools and mechanical equipment.
- Troubleshooting, adjustments and mechanical repairs where required.
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately and on schedule.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and practical fitting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Experience within industrial, manufacturing or factory environments.
- CSCS / CCNSG / EMSS required.
- Reliability and ability to work 10-hour days Monday-Friday, with optional overtime.
