A leading building services contractor is seeking an experienced Commercial Manager (M&E) to oversee commercial performance across a portfolio of mechanical and electrical projects in London. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong contractual knowledge with hands-on commercial leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Commercial Management - Lead commercial activities across M&E projects, ensuring strong cost control, risk management, and margin protection.
  • Contract Administration - Manage NEC/JCT contracts, variations, claims, and change control processes.
  • Cost & Value Reporting - Produce accurate CVRs, forecasts, and financial reports for senior leadership.
  • Procurement Oversight - Oversee subcontract procurement, negotiation, and supply chain management.
  • Project Support - Work closely with project managers to ensure commercial compliance and timely delivery.
  • Client Engagement - Build strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to support successful project outcomes.
Candidate Profile
  • Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior QS within the M&E contracting or building services sector.
  • Strong working knowledge of NEC and JCT contract forms.
  • Excellent commercial acumen with a track record of improving project profitability.
  • Confident communicator capable of influencing internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
