I am looking for a Capital Project Manager to support a schools estates team that manages 55 schools. The role involves £10 million of spend this year, managing multiple projects up to £1 million in value, including room refurbishments, fire-alarm upgrades, building extensions, lighting or heating upgrades.
Key Responsibilities
- Project manage and support the delivery of all key building programmes throughout the Federation, reporting to the Head of Estates and Projects.
- Project manage and support the management of the condition and maintenance of the school estate.
- Support the asset-management processes.
- Project manage the capital elements of academy-conversion projects.
Qualifications
- Public-sector experience, ideally within schools.
- Experience managing multi-million-pound projects and a substantial annual spend.
- Familiarity with refurbishment, fire-alarm upgrades, building extensions, lighting or heating upgrades.
