Midlands based contractor are looking for a freelance Project Manager for a 6 month contract which they will be running on a CDM construction management contract basis. Project will be circa £1 Million in value and is on the existing site of a wholesale food supplier which is still live and fully operational, currently having a new build extension coming to final completion.
Scope of works involve the supervision, management and health & safety for the fitout/modification on the new build section for a temperature controlled ambient zone. The packages primarily involve refrigeration, whitewall, racking systems and M&E works.
Role will be to manage the project from inception through to completion and handover to the client involving:
- Daily liaison with the client representative
- Managing and delivering the programme
- Implementation and coordination for Health & Safety programme
- Chairing client/contractor progress meetings
- Delivering progress reports to client and senior management team
CSCS Card, SMSTS and First Aid certificates will be a mandatory requirement. NEBOSH/IOSH would also be an added benefit but not essential. You will also need to be a front facing individual that is used to working and dealing with clients in live environments.
Rates: PAYE £250 per day, CIS/Ltd £(Apply online only) per day.
