Permanent field service role based in Cork for a leading Irish provider of retail IT and infrastructure services. Ideal for an engineer based anywhere from Mallow and Fermoy down to Carrigaline, Bandon or Midleton. Your home patch will be Cork city and county, but this is a regional role. You will also cover the wider Munster and south east area as workload requires, so flexibility on travel and hours is important.
You will be on the road delivering on site maintenance, break fix, project work, IMAC, software upgrades, decommissioning and light remedial shop fitting across a well known retail customer base, typically running several calls a day.
On offer:
- Up to €39,000 depending on experience
- Company van taken home, plus all tools and equipment provided
- 37.5 hour week
- 1 in 3 on-call rota with a €250 allowance
- Overtime at time and a half Monday to Saturday, double time Sundays and bank holidays
- Permanent role with an established ISO certified business
We are looking for:
- Proven field service experience, comfortable managing your own day across multiple sites
- Happy to travel across the region, with the flexibility that a mobile role demands
- EPOS experience preferred. A strong IT hardware and break fix background with genuine field experience will also be considered
- Full clean Irish or European driving licence
- Right to work in Ireland
