We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Design Engineer to support a busy engineering team on a contract basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong electrical design expertise and a working understanding of Revit (2D & 3D) to assist with coordination and interface with other disciplines.
Role Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and development of electrical systems, components, and assemblies.
- Review and interpret Revit (2D & 3D) models and drawings to support design coordination.
- Interface with BIM teams and understand Revit workflows within multidisciplinary projects.
- Support design reviews, testing, and validation activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, manufacturing, and quality.
- Assist with technical problem-solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
- Degree (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
- Proven electrical design experience within engineering or building services environments.
- Working knowledge of Revit (2D & 3D) to understand model/drawing intent (not required to produce drawings).
- Good understanding of electrical principles, regulations, and industry standards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
