With an interesting and somewhat chequered history, this project has 11 years left to run, with responsibility for 24 reports and an operational P&L of £3m a year. There is also £7.5m available for capital upgrades and defect work plus another c£7.5m of lifecycle funding for asset upgrades and replacement.
This technically complex site consists of laboratories, sterile services department, research facilities and robotic theatres. The contract operates under a tight contractual arrangement and the client is technically and contractually savvy. Paymech is back under control but requires constant management.
