Vehicle Sprayer Location: Barton-under-Needwood (Training required in Doncaster for 4 weeks) Contract Type: Contract and Permanent Opportunities Available Shifts: Days and Afternoons, with Potential Night Shifts We are currently recruiting experienced Vehicle Sprayers to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing operation based in Barton-under-Needwood. Both contract and permanent opportunities are available for suitable candidates. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with vehicle spraying experience, particularly those with a background in the rail industry. The Role As a Vehicle Sprayer, your duties will include: Preparing vehicles and components for spraying, including cleaning, masking and surface preparation. Applying paint and coatings to a high standard using professional spraying equipment. Ensuring all work meets required quality and finish standards. Following health and safety procedures at all times. Working to production schedules and maintaining a clean, safe working environment. Training Successful candidates will complete an initial four-week training period in Doncaster. A mileage allowance will be provided to help cover travel costs. A four-day working week will apply during the training period. Pay Rates Day Shift PAYE: £18.79 per hour Umbrella: £24.47 per hour Afternoon Shift PAYE: £22.55 per hour Umbrella: £29.44 per hour Night shifts: Potentially available, with rates to be confirmed. Overtime available Requirements Previous vehicle spraying experience is essential. Experience in rail, rolling stock or railway vehicle spraying would be advantageous. Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. Ability to work safely and follow technical instructions.
