The Whistling Kettle Tea Room is a leading Tea Room and Bistro in the heart of the beautiful village of Mirfield and due to demand we need an additional Barista & all- rounder to join our current team. You will have Barista experience, have excellent customer service skills, a welcoming and bubbly personality as well as being passionate about food, drink and hospitality where our primary goal is making our customers feel welcomed and part of the family.
This is a great opportunity to join our small but committed team where you will be working predominantly as a Barista but happy to cover Front of House / flexibility approach to cover holidays etc and evenings. We are a fully licenced premise so knowledge of alcohol & cocktails will be advantageous. This post is for a good all-rounder who can adapt in the kitchen helping when required. We pride ourselves on homemade produce with freshly home prepared food, afternoon teas, award winning coffee fresh cakes, wines, beers etc.
Responsibilities include preparing coffees, teas, cakes, taking orders, maintaining cleanliness standards and serving food to customers, making coffee to a high barista standard, Taking and processing customer orders, serving food to our customers and helping set up and close. Any previous waiting experience is essential, great communications skills, punctual, well organised and presentable.
Part time hours – Tuesday-Thursday and Friday\’s 10am – 4pm with extra hours to cover the bistro evenings and private functions. This position may lead to a full -time post in the future.

You must be able to commute to Mirfield on a daily basis, would suit candidates that in West Yorkshire – Huddersfield, Brighouse, Cleckheaton, Heckmondwike, Liversedge, Ossett, Lepton, Kirkheaton, Dewsbury, Horbury, Emley, Flockton or surrounding areas.
