Press Operator
Location: Stoke-on-Trent
Shifts: Days & Nights Available
Pay:PAYE Days £13.87-£14.47, Nights £18.03-£18.81 (DOE)
Contract: Temp-to-Perm
We are currently recruiting for experienced Press Operators to join a busy trailer manufacturing company based in Stoke-on-Trent.
The successful candidates will be responsible for operating press machinery to manufacture components used in the production of trailers.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating press machinery safely and efficiently
- Setting and operating presses to manufacture components
- Working from engineering drawings and production specifications
- Loading and positioning materials correctly
- Inspecting finished components to ensure quality standards are met
- Using hand and power tools where required
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Following all company health & safety procedures
Requirements
- Previous press operating experience is essential
- Manufacturing or engineering experience preferred
- Ability to read and follow engineering drawings
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable and hardworking
- Able to work as part of a team
- Good understanding of health & safety
