Job Description
Our Client has an excellent reputation across the South West and are looking for an experienced Structural Design Engineer to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer with 12 months + experience to work on a diverse and interesting range of projects throughout the southwest and across different sectors including residential, commercial, industrial, education and health. As a key member of our team, you will be working with exceptional colleagues on the structural design of challenging projects that will improve your knowledge and understanding of structural engineering.
You will also be required to liaise and cordinate withtheir infrastructure, highways and drainage engineers and you will be involved in every aspect of scheme development, preliminary and detailed designs and project management.\\n\\nYou will work on a wide range of interesting and challenging projects across different sectors and provide economic and structurally efficient buildings. You will produce drawings using AutoCAD or Revit and prepare structural design calculations as instructed, on a project basis using the current Eurocodes, BS Standards and Approved Codes of Practice. You will assist with coordinating the structural and civil engineering aspects of the design process.\\n\\nYou should have a relevant BEng/MEng in Structural Engineering.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic self motivated team player with good communication skills, have a strong work ethic and have the ability to work under own initiative
