The role of a Casual Lifeguard at Fusion Lifestyle involves working on a casual, zero-hour basis, ensuring a safe and enjoyable customer experience for all users of the Centre’s facilities. Responsibilities include:
- Cleaning assigned areas
- Setting-up and breaking-down various activities and events
- Conducting pool testing according to procedures
- Engaging with members of the public, encouraging repeat bookings, and dealing with customer queries
- Delivering a high level of customer service at all times
As a Casual Lifeguard, you will benefit from the flexibility of a casual, zero-hour contract, with hours varying according to the needs of the business. You’ll be required to work various shift patterns, including weekends, early mornings, later evenings, and bank holidays; so flexibility and a team-player attitude are essential.
What we are looking for:
- A strong swimmer with excellent customer service skills
- A UK recognised pool lifeguard qualification
- Understanding of relevant health and safety legislation
