About the RoleWe are looking for a project manager to join our Expanded Access Programs (EAP) team. You\’ll lead the end‐to‐end delivery of global EAPs, driving patient centricity, operational excellence, and client satisfaction. Acting as the main client contact from project award to closeout, you\’ll oversee timelines, budgets, and KPIs while coordinating cross‐functional teams to deliver seamless execution. You\’ll mentor project support staff, collaborate with business development on account growth, and champion continuous improvement across programs. This role is key to ensuring compliance, promoting best practice, and delivering tailored solutions that exceed client expectations.
What will your job look like?
Promote patient centricity throughout all programs
Lead projects from award to be the client point person for program delivery on a number of EAPs, mapping timelines and project plans for program launch through to closure
Take on the role of backup Project Manager for Senior PMs and Project Directors as required for more complex programs and priority accounts, working within an account specific budget in line with forecasts
Lead regular client meetings and stakeholder management where taking the role of client point of contact without need for more senior team support, including kick off meetings
Coordinate Project Control along with program support team
Deliver against program specific KPIs and account relationship development objectives in order to maintain operational excellence
Begin to work closely with the Business Development lead for assigned accounts to map and manage the current and ongoing opportunities, including supporting the Quarterly Business Reviews
Work alongside and mentor project support to deliver assigned programs
Coordinate all necessary internal resource to deliver outstanding client experience and operational excellence throughout the lifecycle of every program
Provide each client with a tailored service for individual requirements to ensure service offerings exceed client expectations
Support the development of industry leading systems and processes to ensure successful program set up and delivery
Engage with clients to understand their perspectives and challenges – seek ways to improve our service to overcome these challenges
Identify and raise operational efficiencies and program enhancements to promote continuous improvement
Develop EAP environmental and regulatory knowledge, share best practice with clients and ensure quality and regulatory requirements are met and ensure all country‐specific requirements are followed
What will you need to succeed?
People management experience would be advantageous
Outstanding track record of client facing service levels
Knowledge of the drug development process and pharma industry experience
Demonstrated commitment to patient access to critical treatments
Knowledge of GDP, PV, GCP and ideally EAP regulations
