We are partnering with a high-growth, specialist Clinical Research Organisation (CRO) supporting innovative biotech and pharma companies across oncology, neurology, rare diseases and advanced therapies.
This is an Inside Sales/ Sales Development role designed for someone early in their commercial career who wants exposure to strategic biotech clients, complex clinical programmes, and long-cycle B2B sales within the life sciences sector.
You will act as the first commercial touchpoint for prospective clients, supporting senior Business Development leaders by generating high-quality meetings and nurturing early-stage opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Qualify target biotech and pharma accounts through meaningful outbound engagement
- Set up meetings for Senior Business Development and Leadership teams
- Run and manage targeted outbound email campaigns
- Conduct outbound calls and personalised follow-ups
- Support conference and event outreach campaigns
- Research companies, pipelines, and decision-makers using LinkedIn and market intelligence tools
- Communicate full-service and functional service CRO capabilities
- Build early credibility with biotech founders, clinical leaders, and operational stakeholders
- Support territory planning, account segmentation, and pipeline development
- Maintain excellent CRM hygiene and accurate pipeline reporting
- Work closely with Business Development, Operations, and Functional Leaders to deepen understanding of services
You will be targeted on:

- Requests for Proposal (RFPs)
- Previous experience in B2B Inside Sales / Sales Development within the life sciences
- Life science degree or industry exposure advantageous
- Comfortable operating in a long sales-cycle, consultative environment
- Highly organised, commercially aware, and target-driven
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident engaging via email, phone, and LinkedIn
- Tech-savvy with strong CRM discipline (Salesforce preferred)
- Comfortable working in Microsoft tools (Outlook, Teams, Excel, SharePoint)
- Adaptable, coachable, and resilient
- Fluent English required; additional European languages a plus
- Exposure to cutting-edge clinical programmes and emerging biotechs
- Clear development pathway into senior Business Development or strategic commercial roles
