The HR Administrator is responsible for delivering an excellent recruitment experience to UKAEA’s new starters through efficient and effective administration.
Core responsibilities- Deliver high-quality customer service to candidates and employees, ensuring prompt and efficient handling of queries.
- Manage personal data in full compliance with the Data Protection Act and GDPR requirements.
- Provide end-to-end recruitment administration.
- Prepare offer and new starter letters.
- Process vetting and references, and collect right-to-work documentation.
- Support candidate onboarding, including relocation assistance, induction bookings, and issuing required training (e.g. CBT).
- Assist the wider recruitment function as needed, including coordinating and welcoming interview candidates.
- Proven administration experience (HR administration desirable).
- Strong customer service skills.
- Excellent IT skills, particularly in Excel.
- Ability to handle sensitive data with discretion and confidentiality.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage a high volume of new starters.

- Final salary defined benefit scheme with an equivalent of 21.5% employer pension contribution.
