Fusion Academy is a fully accredited 1-to-1 private school for grades 4-12. As a Science and Math Teacher, you will have the flexibility to shape your schedule, design creative lessons, and collaborate with passionate colleagues. Our diverse team of lifelong learners shares a mission to personalize education for every student—academically, socially, and emotionally. Experience and passion to work with 4-8th grade is a plus! Pay is $28.50 per hour. Starts off part-time with the opportunity to grow the hours into full-time (30+ hours per week with benefits).
What You’ll Do
- Teach in a truly personalized way - one student at a time.
- Adapt lessons and assessments to meet each learner's needs.
- Mentor each student and support their social-emotional growth.
- Build strong, consistent partnerships with parents and guardians.

- Keep student records accurate and organized.

What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
- Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of science and math courses, following content standards - curriculum and resources provided.
- Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
- Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
- Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
- Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed.
