English and History Teacher in Irvine

Fusion Academy is a fully accredited 1-to-1 private school for grades 4-12. As an English and History Teacher, you will have the flexibility to shape your schedule, design creative lessons, and collaborate with passionate colleagues. Experience and passion to work with 4th - 8th grade is a plus!

Pay is $28.50 per hour. Position starts off part-time with the opportunity to grow hours into full-time (30 plus hours per week with benefits).

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees or a teaching credential is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to teach a wide range of courses (English Composition, Literature, Language Arts, World and U.S. History, Government, Economics, Humanities, and Electives), following content standards - curriculum and resources provided.
• Experience working with students, including those with learning differences, neurodiversity, accelerated learning needs, and/or mental health challenges.
• Mentoring experience and a passion for social-emotional learning.
• Outgoing, adaptable, and eager to thrive in a dynamic, student-centered environment.
• Skilled with technology, curious about innovation, and open to learning new tools.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• A growth mindset with the flexibility to pivot and problem-solve as needed.
