Fusion is looking to hire an experienced 3D Designer for a full-time, 18-month fixed-term contract position within their small, highly creative in-house studio. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading, full-service agency with over 35 years’ experiential marketing and events experience, specialising within the automotive industry. From planning and ideation to event management and delivery, Fusion is focused on brand awareness, creativity, engagement, reach and sales conversion.

We offer attractive company benefits including up to 33 days holiday, as well as employee recognition days. This is currently a hybrid position, working full-time, Monday - Friday, offering a minimum of 3 days in the office in Bedfordshire and 2 working from home if preferred. The studio team are a critical linchpin across the business, working on briefs for some of the largest car manufacturers to bring brand immersion and connection to life. Working on a multitude of disciplines from graphic design, design for the physical environment, digital and web.
You will work closely with other creatives and our Production team to design and craft all things experiential marketing, including conferences, exhibition stands, sponsorship activations and all things in-between!
Key Responsibilities:- Help deliver against client briefs, producing creative and exciting solutions to brand and experience challenges.
- Produce presentation decks and mood boards.
- Produce sketches and high-quality 3D models and visuals to communicate concepts and designs.
- Work closely with other designers and the Production team to ensure high-quality output, creating technical data for costing and fabrication.
- Provide a range of options and additional visual references to demonstrate creative solutions are carefully considered, explored and developed to the full.
- Work closely with other departments to prepare creative proposals ensuring your work is delivered on budget, on brand and be willing to present these to internal teams when needed.
- Be aware of project profitability, and be budget conscious when moving through the design phases.
- Experienced 3D designer with 2+ years’ experience in a similar role.
- Able to demonstrate strong skills in a variety of creative software.
- Experience working in Cinema 4D, Redshift and the Adobe Creative Suite a must.
- You have a high level of attention to design detail, carefully considering and addressing every element of a space to achieve a desired aesthetic or function.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- An excellent communicator (both verbal and written), confidently presenting and articulating your ideas succinctly to internal teams.
- You’re a supportive team player and a collaborative thinker.
- You have strong organisational and time management skills and can work well under pressure.
- A confident, enthusiastic, flexible working nature with excellent multi-tasking skills and can-do attitude.
- Excellent decision-making skills and the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and work to a high standard (including an eye for spelling, punctuation and copywriting/proofreading).
- Resourceful, self-starting and excellent use of initiative.
