About the Role
This is an associate level role, working full-time 8:30am - 5:30pm, initially Mon - Fri in the office, with a view to hybrid, following successful training and induction. Therefore you must be flexible to work from the office as required. This is a busy role within a team of office based Event Consultants. So if you are someone who enjoys event coordination and prefers being in the office, as opposed to on site - this is the ideal role!
Responsibilities
- Administration including creating reports and organising multiple bookings.
- High volume sales order and enquiry processing.
- Organising of both large and small scale events for automotive dealership partners.
- To communicate effectively and accurately with internal stakeholders, external parties and suppliers.
- To book event staff and ensure all staff are briefed appropriately ahead of their event.
- To ensure all booking paperwork is completed and located in the correct place.
- Management of incoming event enquiries through both phone and email.
- Pro-active and reactive Customer Service support, through both phone and email.
- Data management, analysis and post-event evaluations.
- Occasional provision of out of hours on call event support by rotation.
- Shipping and logistics support.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 12 months administration/office experience.
- A conscientious, confident, enthusiastic, highly organised individual with a flexible working nature, can-do attitude.
- Excellent multi-tasking skills and the ability to prioritise.
- Excellent use of initiative.
- An excellent communicator (both verbal and written), with the ability to communicate with a variety of individuals professionally, and the confidence to pick up the phone!
- Personable individual with the ability to build a rapport and form strong and effective relationships both internally and externally.
- Excellent decision-making skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Natural ability to problem solve.
- A high level of customer service skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work to a high standard within a fast-paced environment, with minimal errors.
- A strong team player who is also able to self-motivate.
- Computer literate using Microsoft packages with particular strengths in Outlook and Excel.
- Full UK Driving Licence, use of own vehicle with no more than 6 points on licence.
Preferred Skills
- Degree in Event Management / Marketing / Business / English / Sales background including retail and recruitment.
- Experience working with and meeting KPI’s.
