Event Coordinator – Permanent / Full time – Bedfordshire

Fusion is looking to hire an experienced Event Coordinator for a full time, permanent position within their Event Production team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading, full-service agency with over 35 years’ experiential marketing and automotive events experience. This is currently a hybrid position, working full-time, Monday – Friday, offering a minimum of 3 days in the office in Bedfordshire and 2 working from home if preferred. Due to the nature of live event days you will need to be flexible to be onsite.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Supporting members of the Event Production team at stakeholder, client and supplier meetings with extensive note taking and planning updates.
- Supporting all members of the Event Production team, undertaking tasks as directed in the planning of a wide variety of events such as test drive campaigns, training events, brand partnerships and experiential activations.
- Support members of the Event Production team with the event management process from planning to execution. Including travel and accommodation booking, event documentation and templates, reporting and updating internal digital resources.
- Communicating with all Fusion teams, including off site, and at our warehouse.
- Onsite / live event support as required.
- Researching venues and providing information back to the project lead in a clear, concise manner. Including updating our database with key information.
- Sourcing availability of casual event staff, as well as managing all administration tasks associated with the booking and briefing of staff.
- Research into new suppliers. Gather costs for multiple suppliers and collate information concisely, to enable the project lead to pick the most suitable option for the task.
- Assist with communication of all organisational event assets to all suppliers and promotional event staff.
- Completion of associated event planning templates.
- Raise purchase orders and liaise with the finance team and project lead for all financial purchases.
About You:
- Some experience of supporting events and / or exhibitions previously.
- Event Management graduate preferable but not essential.
- Full UK drivers licence & car owner (no more than 6 penalty points on licence).
- Energetic & inquisitive!
- Hard working & happy to muck in when needed.
- Flexible to be on site as required.
- Excited to kick start career in Event Management.
