POSITION OVERVIEW

As National Account Manager, you will support the strategic growth of key UK trade partnerships across both bricks‑and‑mortar and e‑commerce retail. Working closely with the Senior National Account Manager and the Founder (currently acting as Head of Trade), you will contribute to the management of a portfolio of national retail accounts and play an active role in new business development across premium health, beauty and wellness channels. This is a commercially focused, relationship‑driven role where you will support revenue targets, contribute to brand excellence at shelf, and help build long‑term, collaborative retail partnerships. You will be expected to develop into a confident and proactive account manager with a growing ability to lead.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Account Management & Revenue Growth: Support the management of a portfolio of UK national retail accounts, driving growth across in‑store and online channels. Support the execution of Joint Business Plans (JBPs) in line with Fushi’s values and commercial goals, with JBP ownership sitting with the SNAM. Contribute to account P&L reporting and help manage trade budgets effectively under the direction of the SNAM. Champion Fushi’s brand and values in every customer interaction and touchpoint.
  • New Business Development: Support the SNAM and Founder in identifying and developing new retail opportunities within aligned wellness and lifestyle categories. Assist in opening new Multiple Retail accounts in line with Fushi’s masstige market positioning. Facilitate the set‑up of new accounts, including onboarding administration and internal coordination. Maintain an active pipeline of prospective new account opportunities and report progress regularly.
  • Commercial Strategy & Forecasting: Forecast and track sales performance against account plans, highlighting risks and opportunities to the SNAM. Analyse sales data, market trends and shopper behaviour to inform pricing, promotions, demand planning, and retail strategies. Implement correct processes to support the efficiency of the demand planning function.
  • Retail Marketing & Brand Execution: Support the delivery of best‑in‑class retail activation, including POS materials, campaign launches, and marketing support programmes within accounts. Ensure strong retail execution across listings, display, content and seasonal campaigns. Assist with new product launches, supporting full omnichannel integration across partner platforms.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with supply chain, marketing, content, and NPD teams to ensure delivery, campaign, and stock readiness. Collaborate with Operations, Marketing and Finance to achieve quarterly KPI targets. Feed customer insights into product, brand, and innovation teams to support roadmap development. Assist in creating sales reports to be shared and acted upon across the wider business.

KEY SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

  • 3+ years’ experience in national account management within beauty, wellness, lifestyle, or FMCG sectors.
  • Proven track record of growing retail partnerships and supporting new business development.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Commercially minded, confident with data, and fluent in Excel and reporting tools.
  • Experience of using Odoo or a similar ERP system.
  • Passionate about purpose‑led brands, natural wellness and ethical living.
  • Resilient, proactive, and adaptable – with a collaborative mindset and a focus on solutions.
