Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer
Location: UK (Remote Working)
Salary: £38,000 £48,000 base salary
We are seeking a enthusiastic Technical Sales Engineer selling cutting-edge, high-precision flow meters that power everything from water treatment plants to medical labs and petrochemical systems. This is a technical sales role with purpose and high earning potential.
Youll be joining a successful, niche manufacturer with a reputation for quality and a team that punches well above its weight. The business is profitable, growing, and about to enter a modernisation phase which means you can shape the future, not just follow a script.
Key Responsibilities
Build new client relationships across industries like water treatment, OEMs, biochemistry, medical and gas flow systems
Understand client needs and match them with highly technical, precision-engineered products
Generate new opportunities while nurturing long-term deals
Optional: support in areas like website refresh, marketing input, or branding if thats your thing
Work closely with the MD and leadership team
Visit the office once a month (after onboarding) and spend time where it counts in the field
Person Specification
A track record in technical sales or business development
Experience with instrumentation, lab equipment, or engineering/flow products
Comfortable working autonomously and commercially driven
A curious, consultative mindset you ask before you sell
Knowledge of OEMs, industrial buyers, or scientific/engineering sectors
Some experience or interest in digital marketing or website modernisation
A technical or scientific background (engineering, physics, life sciences, etc.)
