Job Title: Business Development Manager
Location: Bath, Hybrid 2 days WFH
Salary: Ā£50,000 ā Ā£55,000 + uncapped commission + car allowance or company car
OverviewOur client is looking for a Business Development Manager to drive commercial growth by identifying new opportunities and expanding the customer base across managed IT services, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure. The role is centered on developing relationships with privateāsector organisations, managing the full sales cycle, and contributing to the company\ās wider strategic objectives within the technology services space.
Responsibilities
Drive new business growth in the private sector for cloud, security, and IT infrastructure solutions
Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level and IT decisionāmakers
Identify opportunities, manage the sales pipeline, and convert leads into longāterm customers
Deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and demos of MSP solutions
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure customer requirements are delivered
Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs
Proven MSP/tech sales experience selling managed services, cloud, security, and IT infrastructure (3 years minimum)
Strong understanding of private sector IT environments and decisionāmaking processes
Excellent relationshipābuilding and communication skills
Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Selfāmotivated, targetādriven, and commercially aware
Experience selling hybrid cloud solutions, cybersecurity services, or IT infrastructure projects
Knowledge of current IT trends and MSP technologies
