Shape the stories players can’t put down. We’re looking for a talented Writer to join Fusebox and help bring our interactive stories to life. From iconic reality TV IP to brand new worlds, you’ll craft drama, romance, tension, and those all-important cliff-hangers that keep players coming back for more. This is a role for someone who understands not just great storytelling, but how to make it interactive, meaningful, and commercially impactful.
About the Role
- Writing high-quality episode scripts to tight, live-service deadlines
- Crafting compelling premium scenes and choices that genuinely enhance player experience
- Delivering strong cliffhangers that drive retention and engagement
- Managing your own scope to hit deadlines without compromising quality
- Turning feedback into meaningful rewrites that elevate the story
- Maintaining tone, voice, and continuity across established IPs
- Collaborating in writers’ rooms, feedback sessions, and cross-team meetings
- Reviewing and giving clear, actionable feedback to other writers
- Contributing ideas, shaping story direction, and solving narrative challenges
- Playtesting content with a sharp eye for detail, pacing, and player experience
Qualifications
- Experience writing for interactive fiction, games, or similar formats
