About the Role: Reporting into the Head of Design, this role is highly varied, with creativity and innovative ideas at its core. It would suit someone with 6-8 years of industry experience in a similar industry. The successful candidate will work to a flexible schedule dependent on business needs with an adaptable approach to every brief. The role will provide design support on a variety of projects ranging from business development pitches and client presentations to internal marketing communications. The variety of the role requires a high level of competency in video and motion software and the ability to challenge and elevate every brief. We’re looking for bravery when it comes to answering briefs. We strive to deliver the highest standards across everything we do, and the ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate flexibility and originality when bringing briefs to life. You will be required to work both within established brand guidelines and be able to take design concepts to new, exciting, and innovative levels – always making sure deadlines are met, managing your own workload and running multiple projects and stakeholders at the same time. Excellent skills in time management and communication, plus the ability to plan your workload will be essential in this role. This is a unique role within the Group, and the first of its kind. About You: A confident Senior Motion/Video Designer who is passionate about projecting the best image for themselves and Studios. Proficiency in Adobe After Effects and other motion design software. Proficiency in Adobe CC. Ability to work to a flexible schedule (if needed) dependent on business design needs, this may include working a rotation shift such as evening or weekend shifts with other designers in Studios. Constantly on the lookout for new trends in design and beyond, to inspire Studios and the ability to implement these in design deliverables. Have a detailed understanding of how to help make more informed decisions and demonstrate a commercial understanding when it comes to pitches and client team briefs. Advanced use of motion/video software. Develop and oversee the creation of high-quality motion graphics for various marketing channels, including social media, web, and video. Collaborate with creative producers, copywriters, and graphic designers to produce cohesive and engaging visual content. Lead brainstorming sessions and provide creative direction to ensure innovative and effective motion design solutions. Continuously seek ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the motion design process.
