About the Role
We are looking for a Data Governance and Visualisation Senior Executive to join our ever-growing team. We require a candidate with experience of working in a media environment to not only devise and support these processes but also ensure that these are being observed throughout the OMD network in EMEA and beyond. This role would ideally be best suited to someone who has spent time in reporting of data governance on large scale campaigns on multiple ad servers.
There will be a focus on communication across OMD local markets & partner agencies to correct any data compliance issues and on taxonomy and media spend tracking to quickly identify the errors. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the Data team of a leading global media agency with a large and innovative range of research solutions, to get close to client’s business and communication strategy, to work at a regional and global level with multiple markets, to gain exposure to new data analytics techniques and to build experience across different industries.
Our team makes a very significant contribution to our agency’s income through work delivered to our clients, and we support nearly every new business pitch. We also develop simple but original ways to help our account teams interrogate performance and industry data sets to quickly answer key client questions – enabling our mission of Better Decisions, Faster, improving the standard of work on our accounts and giving our agency and clients a competitive advantage in the marketplace. Balancing all of these competing priorities has become a huge challenge and could hinder our future growth. We need an efficient and pro-active individual to join us and improve our ways of working. We need help to focus in the right places so that we can deliver our commercial targets and also support the wider agency development roadmap.
About You
- Strong interest in data analytics and how insights can be used to drive business and client growth.
- Experience using Business Intelligence or reporting platforms such as Datorama (preferred) or Power BI.
- Proven understanding of data quality, reporting frameworks, and analytical best practices.
- Comfortable working with large datasets and extracting meaningful insights from complex data.
- Ability to support reporting and analytics projects end to end, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Experience responding to ad-hoc client or internal queries, ensuring quality and effectiveness throughout.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain data, insights, and ideas to both clients and colleagues.
- Creative problem-solver who can suggest alternative approaches and think differently to deliver better outcomes.
- Knowledge of coding languages such as SQL and Python is desirable but not essential.
About the Agency
At OMD EMEA, we strive to deliver on our promise of better decisions, faster for our clients, partners and all 6,000+ OMDers across our region every day. As part of the world’s largest media network, our business is staging experiences for consumers who have more choice and less attention than ever before. The key to the process is empathy. Empathy to see the world through the eyes of the consumer, to recognise the needs of our clients and to identify aspirations of our talent. Learn Fast, Act Fast. To help navigate the road to a ‘new normal’, learning from, and acting upon data signals at scale and speed is crucial.
Flexible Working
At Omnicom Media Group, we are committed to supporting flexibility for our people while fostering collaboration, innovation, and teamwork. We have a hybrid working model (three days in the office, two working remotely), to ensure that we meet the needs of both our people and our business, balancing the benefits of in-person connections with the flexibility of remote working. Our standard working hours are 9:30 – 17:30, but we offer the ability to flex around core hours of 10:30 – 16:30 to give our people flexibility on how they manage their working day, whether that’s in the office or working remotely. For example, you could start work at 8:30 and finish at 16:30 or start at 10:30 and finish at 18:30. We encourage open conversations between our people and managers to help navigate high-need periods and individual circumstances. Our goal is to create an environment where people feel genuinely supported to do their best - both in their careers and in their lives outside of work.
