About the Role:
The Marketing Effectiveness team play a vital role in ensuring that our clients realise the full potential of their marketing investment for maximum growth. We provide advanced measurement analysis and consultancy which demonstrates how well media is working at driving business outcomes for our clients and helps them to optimise their future media investment. We’re looking for a Senior Analyst whose key job will be turning client questions into model form and using those to create implementational outputs that improve our client’s business. The role will report into a Senior Consultant.
This role will suit a candidate who is passionate about data and analytics, focused on addressing business questions and wants to influence media and business decision making. The successful candidate will have a proven record of combining a creative approach to analytic problem solving with delivering client friendly solutions in an articulate and insightful style. They will be at a stage in their career where they want to lead projects in their own rights and be making their first steps into supporting more junior team members.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Analyst you’ll spend most of your time working on and delivering marketing effectiveness projects for our range of clients. Examples of the types of analysis we run include, MMM, Geo Testing, Digital Attribution and other bespoke consultancy projects.
We want someone enthusiastic about creating something new, who is excited to contribute to the development of new solutions and analytical approaches – working closely with other specialist services, agency teams, and the wider analytics teams.
Key responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to the below.
- Co-ordinating data collection for marketing effectiveness projects
- Carrying out the analysis, using advanced statistical techniques such as MMM, and ensuring results are robust and answer the client’s questions
- Writing up and presenting results of analysis to clients
- Supporting development of junior members of the team
- Supporting senior members of the team on new business opportunities
- Contributing to the development of new solutions and analytical approaches that keep us on the cutting edge of marketing science
Experience and skills:
- 3 year’s experience in data and analysis and designing approaches to answer ad-hoc questions
- Knowledge of marketing effectiveness techniques like MMM and geo-testing would be an advantage
- We don’t believe any one tool fits all but look for excellent use of a mix of R, SQL, Python, Excel, PowerPoint and other approaches.
- A good presenter with the ability to tell insightful stories with data.
- Excellent team player and role model for other members of the team
