This is a rare opportunity to join a team that blends creativity, data, and strategic thinking to deliver iconic, commercially effective work seen across the UK.
As an Associate Director, you’ll lead day‑to‑day campaign management, guide media planning solutions and help deliver standout creative and strategic thinking. Partnering closely with Business Directors, specialists across the agency and external partners, you’ll act as a key client contact — building trusted relationships, navigating challenges and championing work that drives long‑term growth. You’ll also play a pivotal role in developing our talent: supporting and mentoring junior colleagues while fostering a collaborative, empowering team culture.
What you’ll do:
- Build strong, long‑term client partnerships as a trusted point of contact.
- Provide strategic advice grounded in a deep understanding of client goals, challenges and category context.
- Lead cohesive campaign development, performance analysis and continuous optimisation.
- Manage briefs, budgets, forecasting and financial delivery with accuracy and confidence.
- Present strategies, recommendations and results clearly to clients and senior stakeholders.
- Mentor junior team members and coordinate cross‑functional workstreams.
- Stay informed on industry trends, emerging tech and AI to enhance creativity and performance.
About You:
You’ll thrive in this role if you bring:
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted client relationships.
- Confidence presenting strategies, plans and performance results to senior stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills — able to manage multiple projects, deadlines and priorities at once.
- A proactive interest in emerging technologies, including AI, and how they can elevate creativity, efficiency and performance.
- Experience leading and developing teams, fostering a positive culture and supporting others’ growth.
About the Agency:
At OMD UK, we help our clients make better decisions, faster to unlock extraordinary growth using three industry‑leading capabilities: Decisions Science, Connected Performance and Agile Innovation. We transform better customer understanding into faster marketing impact with world‑class talent and technology, and we do this with some of the world’s most iconic and influential brands.
We are part of the world’s largest media network, with more than 12,000 people working in over 100 countries and are currently AdWeek’s Global Media Agency of the Year. At Omnicom Media Group, we are committed to supporting flexibility for our people while fostering collaboration, innovation, and teamwork. We have a hybrid working model (three days in the office, two working remotely), to ensure that we meet the needs of both our people and our business, balancing the benefits of in‑person connections with the flexibility of remote working.
Our standard working hours are 9:30 – 17:30, but we offer the ability to flex around core hours of 10:30 – 16:30 to give our people flexibility on how they manage their working day, whether that’s in the office or working remotely. For example, you could start work at 8:30 and finish at 16:30 or start at 10:30 and finish at 18:30. We encourage open conversations between our people and managers to help navigate high‑need periods and individual circumstances. Our goal is to create an environment where people feel genuinely supported to do their best - both in their careers and in their lives outside of work.
Be Your Best:
We want everyone to make the most of the opportunity to shine and showcase your talents and we are happy to make adjustments in the recruitment process so you can be your best. Please discuss any specific requirements with your dedicated Talent Team member or if you would feel more comfortable, you can email us confidentially to let us know how we can support you.
