The role requires significant experience managing social activity and team management. The ideal candidate will confidently manage client relationships and lead a team towards the goal of driving quantifiable results for the client. The individual will be part of an international team of 40 people based in London. This role reports to an Associate Director and is integrated into all aspects of programmatic & social marketing for the brand client and its many products.

Team Management

  • Support the Associate Director in managing a team of 1‑2 buyers
  • Be responsible for your team’s output, acting as the escalation point when required
  • Lead PDP reviews and goal setting for your team
  • Contribute to the company culture, e.g. through writing POVs, participating in charity events, or sharing Excel tricks

Strategic Account Management

  • Lead day‑to‑day communication between the agency, international offices, and client stakeholders
  • Deliver programmatic & social media planning
  • Work with your team to produce and present scheduled reporting requirements
  • Uncover and understand client objectives, challenges, and needs to actively provide solutions (reporting dashboards, forecasting methodology, paid media integration, best‑practice documents, POVs, optimization roadmaps)
  • Create & maintain a framework for Quarterly Business Reviews
  • Drive the innovation agenda, ensuring the client stays at the forefront of programmatic & social

Campaign Management / Optimization

  • Provide digital leadership including status updates on deliverables, deadlines, and reporting
  • Manage creation of integrated digital media plans based on a sound technical understanding of the digital ecosystem and available platforms
  • Understand partner technology capability and functionality
  • Identify new programmatic partners & social platforms for the client
  • Track and manage media budgets
  • Conduct analysis of results to identify campaign trends and key insights to meet and exceed client goals
  • Deliver business goals (ROI, budget, traffic)
  • Assist junior team members with campaign activation, optimization, and reporting
  • Upskill junior members on programmatic & social activation and other relevant areas
  • Maintain high standards for data accuracy & reporting

Experience & Skills

  • 3+ years in social planning and/or activation
  • Passion and knowledge of social channels
  • Team management experience and passion for developing people
  • Desire to learn new things
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to manage challenges across diverse clients in a culturally sensitive manner
  • Excellent numerical skills and confidence in analysing data using Excel
  • Proactive self‑starter
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Responsiveness to feedback
  • Desirable: ability to speak other European languages (not essential)
