The E-commerce Connected Commerce Associate Director will play a key role in driving innovation and delivering results for a leading FMCG client. You will consult with agency planning teams to create award‑winning campaigns that integrate commerce into all stages of briefing, planning, activation, and measurement. This role requires collaboration with both the commerce team and brand planners to develop effective strategies that yield bottom‑line growth for our clients. Your primary focus will be ensuring commerce and media planning teams are integrated in their objectives, approach and measurement. This position necessitates a candidate who can clearly identify and communicate key insights, explore retail industry opportunities, and collaborate with other channel teams across the agency.
Responsibilities
- Identify and lead innovative e‑commerce solutions, including testing new technologies and platforms, while working with eCommerce teams to create scalable tests.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners to leverage their expertise for growth.
- Identify new business opportunities and contribute to expanding the e‑commerce practice.
- Stay updated on industry innovation and trends to drive connected commerce solutions and product testing.
- Effectively communicate with clients and internal teams, providing eCommerce analysis, insight, and strategy tailored to diverse audiences.
- Collaborate with technology vendors to create innovative solutions that meet client needs.
- Work with product teams and vendors to access relevant testing opportunities and support suitable test designs.
- Collaborate with product teams to provide feedback on client pain points, product performance, and operational improvements.
- Work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure alignment and deliver integrated solutions.
- Keep clients informed with regular updates and address their evolving needs.
- Foster strong relationships with internal teams to encourage collaboration.
- Mentor and develop team members to create a high‑performing culture.
