JLB are incredibly excited to be partnering with Fuse to support their search for an Account Director to lead one of their key accounts.
The Organisation
Fuse is a leading agency specialising in sport and entertainment marketing, known for driving brand and business growth through strategic and creative solutions. Their services span strategy, data and insight, planning, creative development, rights management, activation, events, PR, and measurement. Their industry prominence enables them to attract top-tier clients and talent.
The Role
In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted advisor to clients, managing deliverables and identifying growth opportunities by expanding scopes of work or introducing new Fuse services. Key responsibilities include managing client relationships, interpreting briefs, mobilising teams, activating partnership assets, and overseeing rights holder relationships. You’ll work on diverse projects, including purpose-led activations, digital content, events, experiential marketing, and colleague engagement.
Further Responsibilities Include:
- Deliver existing and upcoming client projects, with a strategic approach to activating sponsorships in line with wider brand and sponsorship strategy.
- Liaising with stakeholders, including rights holders, supplier partners, and other client agencies.
- Managing and overseeing talent relationships to support partnerships, including managing contractual appearances, approvals, logistics, and briefings.
- Providing regular reporting to key clients and stakeholders.
- Managing a team by providing regular feedback, motivating team members, and supporting their development.
Requirements:
- Experience in the marketing or communications industry, with expertise in working across Sport or Entertainment.
- A strong understanding of the sponsorship and sport landscape, including how partnerships and brand experiences fit within the wider marketing mix.
- Experience in managing and activating high-profile partnerships.
- Proven ability to lead a team, manage people, and support their career development.
