We’re looking for a hands-on Data Lead / Senior Data Analyst to support a major laboratory digitisation programme. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys getting close to the data, understanding how it’s captured, structured, and used to drive analytics and digital products.
What you’ll be doing:
- Analyse and catalogue existing data sources, structures, and storage
- Assess data quality, gaps, duplication, and integrity issues
- Define data requirements, fields, and validation rules for new systems
- Work with stakeholders to shape analytics-ready, structured data models
- Support data cleansing, migration, and transformation activities
- Translate business and product needs into clear data specifications
- Collaborate on data architecture, integration (APIs/ETL), and reporting needs
What we’re looking for:
- Strong hands-on data analysis experience (profiling, structuring, validating data)
- Experience working with structured & unstructured datasets
- Solid understanding of data pipelines, ETL, APIs, or data warehousing
- Comfortable working directly with stakeholders to define data requirements
- Experience in regulated or complex data environments is a plus
