Fuse are working with a global law firm to recruit a Business Analyst into the Projects and Change Delivery group. The Business Analysis team is working on global business change and technology programs and projects in close collaboration with lawyers and other Business Teams.
The successful candidate will be delivering BA activities on IT projects and programs. They will be comfortable working directly with stakeholders across Business Teams, lawyers (including partners), and third-party suppliers. Key projects for this role will be around a Finance Platform Upgrade (s/4 Hana) and a client portal project. Any experience in these areas would be extremely beneficial.
Responsibilities:- Engage in Business Analysis across the full project lifecycle covering problem statement definition, requirements management, process mapping, business change analysis, operating model design, data and financial analysis, and running UATs.
- Work collaboratively to understand and define the scope, objectives, and benefits of new projects/programs and agree on BA deliverables along with the timeframe for delivery.
- Run workshops with diverse stakeholder groups, in person, virtually, or in a hybrid format.
- Elicit requirements within Waterfall or Agile methodologies and document functional and non-functional requirements.
- Support any third-party selection processes by providing the business requirements.
- Run/support UAT by producing UAT scripts, running UAT sessions, and capturing feedback.
- Good understanding of Business Analysis tools and techniques across the full project lifecycle.
- Experience working across medium to large-sized projects and programs.
- Proven experience of working with a wide range of business stakeholders.
- Demonstrates a degree of technical knowledge to be able to interface with technical teams confidently, understanding key concepts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to confidently communicate with the business at all levels of seniority in their language and translate these conversations to technology teams (and vice versa).
- Experience with a wide variety of business analysis industry knowledge, methods, and tools, including Azure DevOps, Mural, Visio, Tableau, Power BI, Behaviour Driven Development (BDD), Business Process Modelling Notation, Waterfall and Agile Delivery, UAT test scripts, Workshops, and RFPs.
