Fuse is a vertically integrated energy company. We're three years old with 300k+ customers, $550M+ in ARR and global ambitions. We raised $210M from top-tier investors. We grew 700% last year. Our mission is to usher in an era where energy is cheap, clean and abundant. Where there is so much energy it stops being something the world worries about. The world will build, play, and make glorious things while solving 'impossible' problems.
As a Visual/Motion Designer, you are the person who brings product and hardware reveals, title sequences, brand films, animations for socials and campaign moments to life. With hardware, robotics, and our own generation to build, there is an unusual amount of great 3D and motion to work with here.
What You'll Do
- Create high-quality 2D and 3D motion design for marketing campaigns, performance ads, product reveals, social content, and digital experiences.
- Build the visual look and treatment for key brand moments, from title sequences and motion systems to cinematic product animations.
- Create functional product visualizations that help customers understand complex products and conceptual campaign work that brings abstract ideas to life through compelling visual storytelling.
- Design custom 3D assets, illustrations, icons, and characters that strengthen product storytelling and elevate the Fuse Energy brand.
- Take ownership of projects from brief to delivery, proactively contributing creative ideas, visual concepts, and solutions.
- Collaborate closely with product, growth, content, and engineering teams to deliver cohesive, high-quality creative work.
- Use audience insights and creative testing to continuously refine and improve visual content.
- Maintain a consistently high level of craft and visual quality across every brand touchpoint.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in motion design, 3D, or visual design, with a portfolio showcasing exceptional craft across campaigns, products, or digital experiences.
- Strong motion and 3D skills, with excellent visual taste and a keen eye for composition, lighting, materials, typography, and storytelling.
- A proactive, self-directed mindset. You take ownership of your work, think independently, and contribute creative ideas rather than simply executing briefs.
- A creative problem solver who can translate complex products and abstract concepts into clear, compelling visual stories.
- Excitement for technology, hardware, and building memorable product experiences through motion and 3D.
- Experience with product visualization or digital products is a plus, particularly if you're familiar with creating optimized assets for real-time applications.
Why you'll love it
You will get to build the kind of 3D and motion most brands never touch, on real hardware and products, at a company with an incredibly ambitious mission. There is a lot to build: a solar launch one month, a hardware reveal the next, title sequences for a long-form video, visuals for new countrywide campaigns, robotics, and new products. Few motion designers get this much to build, or this much room to help make the world excited about a future with power to play with.
Benefits
- Competitive salary and a stock options sign-on bonus.
- Biannual bonus scheme.
- Fully expensed tech to match your needs.
- Paid annual leave.
- Breakfast and dinner for office-based employees.
