About Fuse Energy
Fuse is a vertically integrated energy company. We're three years old with 300k+ customers, $550M+ in ARR and global ambitions. We raised $210M from top-tier investors. We grew 700% last year. And we're just getting started. Our mission is one worth fighting for: to usher in an era where energy is cheap, clean and abundant. Where there is so much energy it stops being something the world worries about. Where the question changes from "how do I get by?" to "what can I do now?" The world will build. The world will play. The world will make glorious things and solve 'impossible' problems. Fear makes people small. Abundance makes people amazing. To get there we are doing everything it takes.
The role
As a Social Strategist, you will own one of Fuse's social platforms end to end, and you control that feed. You are the brain of a pod, the small team you run: yourself plus the creators on your platforms. You will be able to call on a shared creative team of editors, designers, and videographers to help you produce amazing content for your platform. Your job is to keep brilliant content flowing so your creators stay in making mode, and to make sure every post earns its place.
What you'll do:
- Own and control the feed: the content pillars, the formats, the calendar, and the posting plan for your platforms.
- Run a monthly and annual plan for your pod with the Head of Content.
- Be on top of what's happening around the business and online, and constantly come up with briefs for your pod to produce.
- Brief and review your creators work, feed them references and ideas, and give them the analytics that make their work better week on week.
- Post content into the feedback and push the winners into the ad account.
- Work with growth to brief creators on ads and feed them with your winning content to use on other platforms.
- Take campaign briefs from the art director and make sure there is a social media strategy that works on your feed for all campaigns.
- Hire and manage freelancers when you need them, and own your pod's production budget.
- Run the community: reply to comments and DMs, surface what customers are telling us to the product team and customer support, and pull the best work from the other pods onto your feed.
Two things matter most: Socials instinct and ideas. You can spot a winner early and you can explain why it will work. You live in the platforms and know them inside out. You have a real feel for the hook and the angle that makes the right people stop scrolling. Organisation. You can plan, brief, and read analytics, and you keep a lot of moving pieces on track without dropping any of them. You turn a lot of ambition and energy into real output. Beyond that, we want someone who takes full ownership of their platform, moves fast and gets others to do, is genuinely obsessed with what performs and why, and is plugged into internet culture.
What you'll get to build:
You will take a Fuse social platform and turn it into one of the most followed and talked about feeds in the world. The playbook you write to get there becomes the one you own and control. You’ll have a highly talented and motivated creators, a global mission that matters for everyone and a company that’s doing everything from building solar farms to creating custom hardware to expanding globally.
What more do you need?
Competitive salary and equity, biannual bonus scheme, fully expensed tech to match your needs, paid annual leave, breakfast and dinner allowance for office-based employees.
