Fuse Energy is a forward-thinking renewable energy startup dedicated to transforming the energy landscape. Fuse Energy has a growing portfolio of solar farms and are looking for a driven and experienced O&M electrician to join our team. This role would involve both performing/managing the necessary maintenance as well as improving the in-house O&M function.

Location: United Kingdom

What you will do:

• Perform regular HV and LV maintenance works on systems across the UK up to 33kV (higher voltages may be within scope if competency allows)
• Take full ownership of maintenance at assigned sites
• Lead installations at new solar sites occasionally as required
• Mentor junior staff and apprentices
• Assist with site breakdowns and investigations as required
• Ensure safe working practices by both adhering to and actively improving health and safety protocols

Requirements

• Experience as SAP (or extensive experience at AP level and looking to progress)
• Experience of maintenance or construction of HV systems at least up to and including 33kV
• Experience of maintenance or construction of solar farms desirable
• Inverter experience/training desirable
• Possession of JIB-approved ECS gold card
• Additional qualifications such as BS7671 and Level 3 NVQ etc. expected
• Hold a full UK driving license
• Strong technical skills
