We are creating a fully integrated energy company: from developing solar, wind and hydrogen projects to real-time power trading and distributed energy installations. By selling directly to consumers, we cut out the middleman, lower costs and pass on savings to customers.
As we grow, we\’re looking for an experienced Lead Heat Pump Installer to join our installation team. You\’ll take the lead on domestic air-source heat pump installs, ensuring each job is delivered to the highest standards of safety, quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Lead the installation of domestic air-source heat pump systems (ducted or split)
- Remove existing heating systems including gas boilers, pipework and radiators
- Install new pipework, radiators, and hot water cylinders as required
- Commission heat pumps in line with manufacturer specifications and industry best practices
- Supervise and mentor junior installers and apprentices on-site
- Ensure all installations comply with relevant health, safety and quality regulations
- Maintain a clean and professional presence in customer home
- Act as a brand ambassador for Fuse Energy, upholding our value in every interaction
Requirements
- Proven experience installing air-source heat pumps
- Skilled in removing and upgrading domestic heating systems
- Strong understanding of plumbing and heating systems
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Excellent attention to detail, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Full UK driving licence
Bonus
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing and Heating
- G3 Unvented cylinder qualification
- F-Gas certification
- Previous experience supervising a team or leading installations
