Responsibilities

  • Develop tailored sourcing strategies to engage top-tier talent across software engineering, hardware/electronics engineering, trading, and data science/quant backgrounds from high-growth tech companies, trading firms, hedge funds, and other elite technical organisations.
  • Screen and assess candidates for both technical excellence and cultural fit.
  • Run high-quality processes: drive pipeline activity, facilitate debriefs, and ensure seamless candidate experiences.
  • Negotiate offers and close world-class talent in competitive markets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and department heads to understand their hiring needs and timelines.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a strong focus on technical roles (software engineering, hardware/electronics engineering, trading, quant, data science or similar) in high-performance environments.
  • Background hiring at companies known for a high bar, whether agency (trading firms, hedge funds, HFTs, tech) or in-house at scaling tech companies.
  • Proven ability to identify and close candidates with niche, in-demand skill sets.
  • Comfortable working across a range of technical disciplines, not limited to one specialism.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Excellent relationship-building and influencing skills across all levels of an organisation.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with ATS tools, reporting, and data-driven recruiting practices.
