Fuse Energy is a forward‑thinking renewable energy startup on a mission to deliver a terawatt of renewable energy - fast. We're combining first‑principles thinking with cutting‑edge technology to build a radically better energy system. We raised $210M from top‑tier investors including Multicoin, Balderton, Lakestar, Accel, Creandum, Lowercarbon, Ribbit, Box Group and strategic angels like Nico Rosberg, the Co‑Founder of Solana and GPs behind Meta, Revolut, Spotify, Uber and more.

We’re creating a fully integrated energy company: from developing solar, wind and hydrogen projects to real‑time power trading and distributed energy installations. By selling directly to consumers, we cut out the middleman, lower costs and pass on savings to customers.

But we’re not stopping there. We’re also building the Energy Network: a decentralised platform of smart devices to electrify our homes, shifting usage to off‑peak hours and helping balance the grid. This network strengthens grid stability - a critical foundation for scaling AI data centres and other energy‑intensive industries.

We're looking for a Data Commercialisation Lead to build and scale our commercial data business from the ground up. You'll define the go‑to‑market strategy, establish relationships with hedge funds, asset managers and other institutional investors, and own the full sales lifecycle for our data products.

This is a zero‑to‑one opportunity to build a new business from the ground up. Working across proprietary datasets spanning energy supply and robotics, you'll help define the product strategy, win our first institutional customers, and establish a scalable commercial engine for our data business.

  • Proven experience commercialising proprietary data, analytics or AI products for institutional investors or enterprise customers.
  • Experience selling alternative data to hedge funds is highly desirable but not essential.
  • Strong commercial instincts with a track record of building new markets, products or sales functions from scratch.
  • Technical aptitude and the ability to understand, communicate and commercialise complex datasets across sectors such as energy, infrastructure, robotics or AI.
  • Work closely with engineering, product and research teams to refine data products based on customer feedback and market demand.
  • Define pricing, licensing and commercial models for subscription data products.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of institutional clients, from prospecting through to long‑term.
