Fuse Energy is a forward-thinking renewable energy startup on a mission to deliver a terawatt of renewable energy - fast. We're combining first-principles thinking with cutting-edge technology to build a radically better energy system. We raised $200M from top-tier investors including Multicoin, Balderton, Lakestar, Accel, Creandum, Lowercarbon, Ribbit, Box Group and strategic angels like Nico Rosberg, the Co-Founder of Solana and GPs behind Meta, Revolut, Spotify, Uber and more. We’re creating a fully integrated energy company: from developing solar, wind and hydrogen projects to real-time power trading and distributed energy installations. By selling directly to consumers, we cut out the middleman, lower costs and pass on savings to customers. But we’re not stopping there. We’re also building the Energy Network: a decentralized platform of smart devices that rewards users in Energy Dollars for electrifying their homes, shifting usage to off-peak hours, and helping balance the grid. This network strengthens grid stability - a critical foundation for scaling AI data centers and other energy‑intensive industries.

We are looking for a Data Centre Manager to help build the foundation for the next generation of AI. You will own the technical execution, fitout, and physical deployment of our decentralized compute pods and colocation projects across the UK. This is an end‑to‑end execution role where you will transform empty spaces or colocation data halls into high-density, fully operational computing sites.

Responsibilities

  • Own the technical strategy and execution for our UK decentralized compute sites, ensuring each location meets the highest standards for technical performance and efficiency.
  • Lead early‑stage technical evaluations and screening of prospective spaces and colocation data halls.
  • Drive the end‑to‑end deployment lifecycle, from initial site assessment and hardware selection through to final installation, site commissioning, and transition to live operations.
  • Act as the primary execution lead on‑site, working closely with external and internal teams to bring sites online and establish their long‑term infrastructure health.
  • Manage technical fitouts, CapEx facility upgrades, physical logistics, equipment rigging, and hardware deployment schedules.
  • Oversee the installation and maintenance of direct‑to‑chip liquid cooling loops and localized infrastructure.
  • Enforce rigorous structural, mechanical, and electrical safety standards across all physical sites.

Qualifications

  • Hands‑on experience delivering new infrastructure projects, executing data centre fitouts, or leading critical data centre operations within colocation or hyperscale environments.
  • Strong technical knowledge of mission‑critical facilities infrastructure, including power distribution, backup UPS systems, and high‑density power delivery.
  • Direct experience working with high‑performance computing (HPC) hardware setups, advanced GPU rack architectures, or managing high‑density data suites.
  • Deep understanding of liquid cooling systems or critical facility infrastructures.
  • Highly autonomous, self‑directed, and comfortable taking full ownership of physical infrastructure projects and facility operations in a fast‑paced environment.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary
  • Biannual bonus scheme
  • Fully expensed tech to match your needs
  • Paid annual leave
  • Breakfast and dinner allowance for office based employees
