The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

This position will oversee the marketing and design team across both Further Travel and AmeriCamp. This position will assist with brand development and growth across the business. This role requires a blend of marketing, data, experimentation and wider product thinking. The work environment is fast-paced, with a successful candidate possessing the ability to learn quickly and to be very flexible with changing business needs. This position will also require the development of new business partnerships and opportunities. The position requires previous marketing and growth experience.

In this role you will:

  • Team Management
    • Oversee the marketing and design team.
    • Ensure workload is covered and all tasks are delegated appropriately.
    • Conduct team meetings and 1-1's, supporting staff progress and development.
    • Be the spokesperson for all things marketing and growth across the business.
  • Analytics and Experimentation
    • Consistently track business performance across CPA, ROAS, conversion and retention rates, making recommendations for improvement.
    • Launch weekly experiments across websites, socials, creatives and offers, reporting back on progress.
    • Utilise data to shape decisions, budget and growth direction.
  • Consumer Insights
    • Understand changing consumer interests and demands.
    • Feed insights to wider team to enhance direction and performance.
    • Build deeper understanding of our customer/their needs to define brand position within the market.
    • Assess/design experiments for further growth potential, infiltrating new markets/expansion/ROI.
    • Continually shape our brand voice, positioning and messaging across all touch-points.
  • Content and Brand Growth
    • Solidify business identity for FurtherTravel and AmeriCamp.
    • Lead on the creation of social content that drives trust and desirability.
    • Present back with new revenue generating initiatives, ideas and growth tactics.
    • Use experience and knowledge to aid quality control on all content; website based, social media based and email marketing.
    • Work on product and business development/new partnerships.
    • Focus on key projects depending on seasonality of business needs.
  • Paid Social and Search
    • Optimise ads across Meta, TikTok and Google Ads.
    • Monitor acquisition funnels for bookings and leads.
    • Test creatives, audiences, messages and offers to drive lower customer acquisition costs.
    • Scale what works.
    • Work with external partners on execution of ad launches.
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • National travel as required (Fairs, conferences, client meetings).
    • Back up other team members, diversifying across tasks as necessary.

Required Experience

  • Previous marketing and growth experience required, with a focus on B2C.
  • Analytical and creative thinking for product development.
  • Strong management and interpersonal skills.
  • Responsive and proactive communicator.
  • Excellent copywriting and content sense.
  • Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Must have excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent teamwork/collaborative skills.
  • Experience with tools like GA4, Webflow, Clarity, Hubspot, TikTok Ads Manager or similar.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook).
