Your Role:
- Analyse commercial performance across stores, online channels, and product categories, helping the business understand trading trends and identify opportunities to improve sales, margin, and customer outcomes.
- Own and deliver weekly commercial insight reporting for the leadership team, summarising key performance indicators including sales performance, margin, stock levels, customer trends, and profitability.
- Develop and maintain reporting solutions using Power BI, Jet Analytics, and Report Builder, ensuring reports remain accurate, visually clear, and aligned with business priorities.
- Deliver clear and reliable commercial reporting used by senior leadership to understand business performance.
- Support the transition to a modern reporting landscape as Business Central and associated reporting tools are introduced, helping ensure commercial reporting remains accurate during the transition from legacy systems.
- Communicate clearly and confidently with your team.

Our Ideal Candidate:

- Strong experience writing SQL queries to extract and analyse data from relational databases.
- Hands‑on experience building dashboards and reporting solutions using Microsoft Power BI.
- Experience of working with Microsoft SQL Server and Azure-based data environments, alongside the broader Microsoft BI ecosystem.
- Previous experience in a BI, reporting, or analytics role, ideally within a retail or commercial environment.
- Strong understanding of retail KPIs such as like‑for‑like sales, margin analysis, stock turnover, and customer performance metrics.
- Excellent analytical thinking with the ability to turn complex datasets into clear commercial insights.
- Curious and analytical, with a genuine interest in understanding how data explains business performance.
